Discussion on LEED Version 5 & Decarbonization in Materials at INSEE i2i Talks

On July 4th, ISD Engineering’s director, Mr. Vang Le, spoke at the INSEE i2i Talks Session, with participation from businesses and experts in construction materials, design, construction, and environmental protection. Additionally, the session’s theme was “Green Building: Catching up with the Trend – Sustainable Materials and Pollutant Management.”

During the talks, Mr. Vang Le shared the latest updates in LEED Version 5 and the ongoing efforts towards decarbonization in construction materials. LEED v5, the highly anticipated update from LEED v4 and v4.1, introduces a major shift in the rating system and how sustainable building practices will be approached in the future.

The session enabled participants to discuss and collaborate on innovative solutions for a greener future in Vietnam’s construction industry. Moreover, the exchange of ideas and research during the talk highlighted the industry’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
